	This year festival-goers will have a chance to tour the Grand Opening of the new Assumption Cultural Room donated to the memory of Angie Roustemis by husband, Mike Roustemis and his family. The unique addition, designed by John Sheoris, distinguished architect , will house exhibits of Greek history, art, music, literature, artifacts and archives as well as serve as a hospitality room for the parish and community events A gift shop with unique items and book store will add to the excitement of the opening.Opening ceremonies will begin on Thursday evening August 19 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. with Grand Opening at 6:30 p.m., Friday, August 20 from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.; Saturday, August 21 from 11 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday, August 22Festival-goers will enjoy delicious Greek food including favorites like gyros, spinach pie, roast lamb, shish kebob, chicken kebobs and delicious pastries. Live entertainment will be provided by popular Greek bands and DJ and attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to Greek dance. And dressed in costumes from different regions throughout Greece, Assumption’s GreekOther Festival activities include children’s games and rides on the grounds. This year additional vendors will be on hand in the “open” shopping market. Guests will have an opportunity to buy Greek artifacts, icons, statues, jewelry, art and much more.
